Join us for the Strawberry Hill Neighborhood Association's November Meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9 at the Foley Group Building on 6th St. (white building in the rear of main Foley Building, down the corner of Orchard). This will be the final neighborhood meeting where business is conducted in 2017.

Trash bags and gloves will be provided as well as some bottled water. We will meet up at the St. Mary's park between 6th and Orchard Street at 9 am. We appreciate the hard work and effort everyone puts forward during these clean up days to help better our community!

Community Garage Sale!

The Strawberry Hill Third Annual Rummage Sale will be held on Saturday, July 9. The annual rummage sale to be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Strawberry Hill Museum courtyard. Please pass this onto all your friends and family, and if you are wanting to get rid of some of your own items please have your own sale to help draw in more people. The Unified Government of Wyandotte County does require the purchase of a permit for a garage/yard/rummage sale. The permit costs $5 each and may be issued for one to three consecutive days. A form must also be complete and it can be found here. The form (and payment) must be mailed or delivered to the Neighborhood Resource Center / License Division, 4953 State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas 66102-3603

Strawberry Hill Pub Crawl

Join us from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m on Saturday, June 11 for our Third Annual Pub Crawl. Experience a fun atmosphere in some of the best watering holes the Kansas City-metro area has to offer. Pubs and bars this year include 403 Club, Breit's, Chicago's, Colonial Club, Fat Matt's Vortex, Johnnie's, Mocking Bird Lounge and Sammy's Tavern. This event also is supported by Wil Fischer Distribution and many other fine Strawberry Hill businesses. In addition to a great time, prizes will be up for grabs throughout the day along with some games. And make sure you share this link! 

Tickets can be purchased for $20 from now until May 19. After May 19, cost goes up to $25. Day of, the cost is $35 and t-shirt sizes may be limited. We'll have a prize drawing at 4:30. This event will be limited to 250 people!

SHNA's May meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 12. in the Second Floor Auditorium at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library's Main Branch, 625 Minnesota Ave. The meeting will include the Honorable Judge Mike Russell of the 29th Judicial District as a special speaker. We also will conduct general neighborhood business.
